Research Interests
My research activities have been concerned with acoustic studies of
microscopic phenomena at the molecular scale and applications of this
knowledge to outdoor sound propagation. The outdoor sound propagation
program is concerned primarily with the effects of turbulence on the
coherence of propagating, diffracting, and nonlinear waves. Current
focus is on the installation of a global system of infrasound receivers.
