The Center for Population Studies functions as a unit of the College of Liberal Arts, The University of Mississippi, to disseminate U.S. Census data, provide technical assistance in the collection and analysis of Census and other demographic and social data, and undertake research on population issues, such as fertility, migration, and economic development.
