    Must complete sophomore (200 or higher) level sequence in one foreign language. Students with one yr. of foreign language instruction should enroll in 102; two yrs. of instruction enroll in 201.

  • Sciences (9-11 hrs.)
    Any three (3) lecture courses plus two (2) labs from Astronomy (pg. 396), Biology (pg. 291), Chemistry (pg. 297), Geology (pg. 344) or Physics (pg. 396) where at least one year of study is required in one subject area and the other course is from a second subject area. Physics and astronomy are considered one subject area.

  • Fine or Performing Arts (3 hrs.)
    Any one (1) course from Dance 200, Music 101, 102, 103, or 105 (pg. 370), Theatre 201 (pg. 415), or Art Hist. 281, 283, 284 or any 300/400 level course (pg. 289).
  • Humanities (3 hrs.)
    Any one (1) course from either Afro-Amer. Studies (pg. 283), Classics (pg. 302), Philosophy (pg. 393), Religion (pg. 395), Southern Studies 101, 102 (pg. 412), Women's Studies 201 (pg. 419), or Honors 101, 102.
  • University Studies (l hr.)
