Tonight's topic: Positive Parenting

What? This group will look at the role positive parenting plays in our lives and how we can put it into practice.

Behavior Management Strategies (For Parents, Teachers, Grandparents)
When? February 28, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.

What? This group will examine what behavior management strategies are available and discuss what has been found to work best.
Don't Worry! ~ Relaxation Skill Building (Just in time for midterms!)
When? March 21, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.

What? This group will examine the effects of short- and long-term worry and anxiety and how worry can be reduced through specific (and easy) relaxation exercises.
Stress ~ Now and Then! (Just in time for finals!)
When? April 11, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.

What? This group will look at the effects of stress and how daily stress levels can be reduced through the use of simple relaxation and time management techniques.
Family and Friends of Individuals in Distress
When? May 2, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.

What? This group's purpose is to provide attendees with information regarding how to better support those in their lives who are dealing with mental and behavioral health issues, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, loneliness, alcoholism, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

Parking rules behind Kinard hall have now changed. The first three rows when you drive in are still open. However, the rest of the parking lot is now designated as faculty/staff parking. Mrs. Janice has a parking pass available for you if you must park in the faculty/staff area. Also, if you do receive a ticket, let us know and we will try to help work this out with the UPD.
