Faculty Focus: The OR in this issue focuses on ALL the faculty who contribute to the research environment at UM.  We thank you for your efforts, congratulate you on your achievements, and look forward to working with you in FY 2000.

In December 1999, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs hosted a Faculty Recognition Reception to thank the faculty who last year contributed to the work of this Office and to the achievements in research at UM.  Guests included faculty who submitted applications, won external sponsorship, or contributed to the research environment in any number of ways, such as serving on IRB or IACUC committees or as reviewers for the Faculty Research Program. The work of the OR is to assist faculty, but our efforts rely heavily on the assistance faculty offer us and only reflect the creativity, persistence, and dedication of the researchers, scholars, and teachers at UM.  Pictures >>
