Faculty often find it helpful to know what we, the SDS staff, are telling students regarding their accommodations and the procedures for requesting accommodations. Each student receives a "Handbook for Students with Disabilities" when he/she is verified. This handbook details for the student our office procedures, what the most common accommodations mean (and don't mean), and the student's responsibility toward receiving accommodations. We encourage you to review the Handbook so that you are more familiar with what students are being told regarding accommodations.
