Application Procedure
STEP 1:  Apply to the Graduate School
Follow instructions for filing an application online HERE at the Graduate School's website .

After completing the online application, send 1) official transcripts from all institutions from which you have received a degree, and 2) official GRE scores, to:

STEP 2:  Send additional materials to the Department of Sociology & Anthropology

Send at least two letters of recommendation and a personal statement about your interests in anthropology, including how a graduate degree in anthropology fits with your educational and career plans. Send materials to:

To insure consideration for a departmental assistantship, anthropology applications must be complete by March 1st.  We will accept application for the Fall semester up until June 1.  Because of the structure of the program, we will accept applications for first time enrollment starting in the Spring semester only under unusual circumstances. Department decisions can only be made after the graduate school application (including GRE scores and transcripts) is complete.
