Application Procedure
To apply for admission to the M.A. Program in Sociology, follow these two steps:

STEP 1:  Apply to the Graduate School
Follow instructions for filing an application online HERE at the Graduate School's website .

After completing the online application, send 1) official transcripts from all institutions from which you have received a degree, and 2) official GRE scores, to:

STEP 2:  Send additional materials to the Department of Sociology

Send at least two letters of recommendation and a personal statement about your interests in sociology, including how a graduate degree in sociology fits with your educational and career plans. Send materials to:

Deadlines are March 1 for Fall semester and October 1 for Spring semester enrollment. Department decisions occur after the graduate school application (including GRE scores and transcripts) is complete.
