Sylvia Dodson and her uncle, Leroy Campbell, of Sherman, Mississippi. The pair, along with Dodson’s mother Hazel Waldrip Cox and Everett Wilder Cox, perform country music standards as The Mississippi Lively Ones at nursing homes throughout the region. At age 92, Campbell has been playing music for over 70 years and is currently teaching Dodson guitar.
