Bud and Hazel Huddleston have been active musicians in Tippah County for over 50 years. The couple began playing music together when they first started dating and they have continued to perform together throughout their married life. They have fronted bands that have played throughout northern Mississippi and they sponsor an annual bluegrass concert at Tippah Lake that has run for over twenty years. The Huddlestons are also heavily involved in local radio. They have worked together, hosting radio shows on WKZU FM in Ripley for over twenty years. Currently they are hosting both a Saturday bluegrass show and a Sunday gospel show on the station.
