Notes on Contributors

Wesley Loy earned an M.A. degree in Southern Studies at the University of Mississippi. He received his undergraduate degree in journalism in 1984 from the University of Tennessee and has worked as a reporter for newspapers in Orlando, Florida; Anchorage, Alaska; and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Jonathan Miles lives in Oxford, Mississippi, where he is a reporter for The Oxford Eagle. He received the 1993 Gray Award for his outstanding Southern Studies undergraduate research paper, Nothing but Chanky--Chank: Music and Cajun Culture, submitted during the 1992 academic year.

Christopher Sheffield is a staff writer with University News in the Department of Public Relations at the University of Mississippi. He graduated in 1990 from the University of Memphis with a degree in journalism.
