Congratulations!

Two of our former graduate students recently received accolades for outstanding work in their field.

Lynn McKnight was awarded the Glover Moore Award for the best thesis on a Mississippi topic in the past year. Her thesis, "Lessons in Freedom: Race, Education, and Progress in a Mississippi Delta Community since 1965," explored life in Indianola, Mississippi.

Chuck Yarborough was recently named the year's star teacher at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.
