Returning On-Campus Apartment Resident Applicants - Fall 2013/Spring 2014/Summer 2014

Application Title: Apartment 2013-2014 NG, CW, VL Application

Please note the following concerning this application process:

Campus Walk and Village leases are for 12 months and include the summer term, regardless of your enrollment in summer classes. Northgate leases are for fall and spring only.
For the 2013-2014 academic year, sophomore students will have the opportunity to live a newly-designated sophomore area, consisting of buildings F, G. Students of junior classification and above will live in B, C, D, F, H, I, and J.

The process for returning apartment residents, transfer students, and other upperclassmen will take place in four phases for current on-campus residents:

Phase 1: Current residents of Campus Walk, Northgate, and the Village apartments have the opportunity to renew leases for their current apartment spaces. Current residents of Campus Walk buildings F and G, however, will not be able to remain in those buildings but will choose new spaces within buildings other buildings during Phase 2.
Phase 2: Current apartment residents have the opportunity to select different spaces within their current complexes (Campus Walk and Northgate only). Campus Walk residents currently residing in buildings F and G will select new spaces during this time.
Phase 3: Current apartment residents (Campus Walk and Northgate only) have the opportunity to select spaces in the other available apartment complex. Students may continue to renew their current spaces or choose within their current complexes if spaces are still available.
Phase 4: The apartment application will be available to ALL current on-campus residents. This phase will remain open until all spaces have been filled.

Here are three tips to help you through the housing application process:

To begin the student housing application process, log into my.olemiss.edu and select ‘Housing’. Next, select ‘Application’ (below the ‘Housing’ link). Then, select this application: Apartment 2013-2014 NG, CW, VL.
The application will consist of signing the online contract, paying the $75 non-refundable application fee, and choosing your bedspace within an apartment. The order of these steps is determined by the phase during which you are applying, but ALL of these steps are required to secure your housing assignment.
View your application information and reservation at any time by logging into my.olemiss.edu and selecting ‘Housing’. Next, select ‘Application’ (below the ‘Housing’ link). Then, select the application that you completed. Click on the ‘Application Status’ option within the top menu bar to view your information.
