One of the twin towers, Martin Hall is a female residence hall composed of 10 living floors. A lobby is located on the first floor, connecting the hall to Stockard Hall, the tower that houses male students. A convenience store, which sells both convenience items and hot foods, a laundromat, and study rooms are located in the shared lobby. Free nightly tutoring sessions in various subjects are conducted in the study rooms. Each residential room is furnished with movable dressers and desks, closets, and a twin extra-long bed for each student. Ethernet hookups, wireless internet, basic cable, and a phone line that can be activated free of charge is also included in every room. A 24-hour front desk, a resident assistant on each floor, a live-in residence hall director, and student ID card readers on all exterior doors make Martin a safe and secure place to live. |
