Returning Residential College Member Applicants - Fall 2013/Spring 2014

Current members of the Residential College South and the Luckyday Residential College will be given the opportunity to renew their memberships and assignments within their respective buildings before new members are placed. Each community has a unique process. Please see the details of each process below.
Residential College South
Current Residential College South students who have completed the Residential College (South) Intent to Return form will be able to log into MyOleMiss and complete the returning student housing application process for spaces in RC South. The RC South returning student sign-up process will have multiple steps online and offline, coordinating with Sue Gauthier. The time frame and process outlined in the timeline linked above is only for signing up to stay in the Residential College South. Iif you are interested in applying for one of the on-campus apartment spaces as a returning student, follow the directions you receive separately via Ole Miss email for that application process . To apply to remain in RC South, please follow the detailed instructions below:
- Log into MyOleMiss, and select the ‘Housing’ tab from the top menu bar.
- Directly below the ‘Housing’ tab option, select Application’, which is next to ‘Home’.
- Select the ‘Returner Fall 13/Spring 14 Academic Yr’ application.
- Complete all tabs, including signing the electronic contract, paying the $75 non-refundable application fee, and, finally, selecting a bedspace.
- The $75 application fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel your contract prior to July 1, 2013. You are able to pay the fee online during the application process by entering your debit or credit card information within the application or by selecting for the fee to be posted to your student bursar account. Please be aware that failure to pay off the application fee that was posted to your bursar may affect your ability to register for Fall 2013 or keep your Fall 2013 schedule.
- All returning residents will select bedspaces from double-occupancy rooms with their preferred roommates. Unlike last year, bedspaces in double-occupancy rooms will not be assigned. All students must self-select a space in double occupancy room. If you have applied for a single or quad space, you will be contacted by Sue directly once you have completed the application process.
- After completing all steps of the application process, view your application status to confirm your booking.
Luckyday Residential College
Current Luckyday Residential College students who have completed the Returning Room Reservation form with Merrill Magruder will be able to log into MyOleMiss and begin the returning student housing application process for spaces in the LRC. The time frame and process outlined in the timeline linked above is only for signing up to stay in Luckyday Residential College. If you are interested in applying for one of the on-campus apartment spaces as a returning student, follow the directions you receive separately via Ole Miss email for that application process. *The housing contract cancellation deadline is July 1, 2013. After this date, any student wishing to cancel his or her housing contract will be directed through the contract appeal process and release will not be guaranteed.
