Welcome, to the Student Tour and Recruitment (S.T.a.R) website!

The University of Mississippi’s Department of Student Housing & Residence Life adopted the S.T.a.R program in 2003 to assist prospective Ole Miss’ students and their families with the student housing process.

Currently, there are approximately twenty undergraduate and graduate student

S.T.a.R.s that provide tours of residence halls and answer questions about the residence life experience.These students have first-hand experience on what it is like to live in student housing. Since Ole Miss’ students are required to live on campus their first year, we strongly encourage you to request a S.T.a.R tour. Simply, call the Office of Admission at (662) 915-7226 and request a housing tour.
