The Telecommunications Center offers 56K modem service to faculty, staff, students, retirees, and other special accounts. Applications for modem service are available at the Telecommunications Center located in Baxter Hall.

The 56K speed is not guaranteed to you computer. The speed of your connection depends on the modem in your computer plus the telephone line between your address and Baxter Hall.

Faculty and staff pay $12.84 per month for 120 hours. The charge is collected through payroll deduction from checks received on the 15th.

Students are billed through the accounts receivable service at the Bursar. Student should pay the $12.84 for 120 hours by the 10th of each month.

Retirees and other special accounts are billed $12.84 per month by the Telecommunications Center. Invoices are sent to the mailing address provided. Payment should be mailed to the Telecommunications Center.

Billing is processed the first of each month for the current month. The first bill will be more than $12.84 as it is for the partial month when subscribed plus the following month.
