Academic and Administrative Network

In 1995, the University adopted ATM as the architecture for the fiber optics backbone serving the campus. The campus converted to Gigabit ethernet to replace the ATM architecture.

The ATM network was replaced by a gigabit backbone and is fully operational. All of the buildings are connected and operating on the new backbone.
