The lobby of Baxter Hall serves as a reception area for the building.You are requested to stop at the reception counter before proceeding to other areas in the building. The following services are located in Baxter Hall:

• Telecommunications Operations-Lobby area, East End First Floor, and all of the Second Floor.
• Computer Repair and Maintenance-West End of First Floor
• Network Design and Engineering Group-West End of Third Floor
• Auxiliary Computing-East End of Third Floor

A security system controls the entrances to the building. Only the front doors are open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Monday-Friday. Access to other communications room and the maintenance area inside the building requires a security badge. The system is monitored twenty-four hours a day seven days a week. Any type security problem is reported to the Campus Police and management personnel. Campus Police respond to the report and determines the cause of the security problem.
