Theatre Merit Scholarships  As many as twenty-five Theatre Merit Scholarships are awarded each year on the basis of an audition or portfolio review.

Auditions and Interviews are conducted four times a year on campus. At each Audition and Interview Weekend, students attend classes, tour facilities, and see an Ole Miss Theatre production. Auditions are held on Saturday morning. See the Auditions page for detailed information regarding what to prepare for auditions.

The Patricia Tarr Leavitt Scholarship  Established by two Ole Miss Theatre alumni, this scholarship is awarded yearly to full-time undergraduate students from Mississippi pursuing a BA or a BFA in theatre arts.

The Upton-Cantú Scholarship for Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting  The Upton-Cantú Scholarship is a merit-based award given every year to a BFA Acting student. Students are invited into the BFA Acting program after auditioning at the end of their sophomore year.

The Wallace Hamilton Scholarship Established by the friends and family of Wallace Hamilton, this scholarship can be awarded to any full-time theatre student.

Academic Scholarships  Students with a composite score of 27 on the ACT or 1170 on the SAT may also qualify for academic scholarships valued from $500 to $2,500 per semester. Eligible students may receive both Theatre Merit and Academic Scholarships. For additional information regarding academic scholarships, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
