Ticket Sales

1. Can I get football tickets at the UM Box Office?

We do not sell athletic tickets. Those can be purchased at the Coliseum Ticket Office
(662.915.7167). The UM Box Office sells tickets to most of the music and theatre events on campus.

2. Where are you located?

Our main office is located in the lobby of the Student Union and is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

We also operate a satellite ticket sales location at the Ford Center (Noon – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday) during the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Tickets can also be purchased:

On this website by selecting Order Tickets from the menu above or
by calling 662-915-7411. (10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday)

3. What is the cost of a ticket?

Ticket prices are set by event sponsors and vary from show to show.

4. How many student tickets can I purchase with my ID?

You may purchase one student ticket for each student ID that you present. You may purchase as many additional tickets at the regular rate as you like.

5. Can I purchase a seat next to my friend?

For events with reserved seating (assigned seats), individuals who would like to sit together should purchase their tickets at the same time.

6. What is your policy regarding refunds and exchanges?

We do not issue refunds unless an event is cancelled. For events with multiple performances, we will allow customers to exchange one night for another provided that the request is made prior to the week of the show. We can exchange one event for another as long as it is within the same series and is of equal or greater value.  The customer will be responsible for any balance due.

7. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment:

* Cash
* Check
* Visa
* Mastercard
* Payroll Deduction (for amounts over $100.00)

* Gift Certificates

8. If I bought season tickets last year, can I get the same seats this year?

We will make every effort to accommodate your seating requests; however, seats are not held from year to year.  All orders are processed in the order that they are received. To increase the likelihood of getting specific seats, season ticket holders should take advantage of the early purchase window and write their seating preference on their order forms. For more information regarding this, please contact us at 662-915-7411.

9. How long does the show last?

Show times vary from event to event and we generally do not have information regarding how long each performance lasts.

10. I lost my tickets. Can you reprint them for me?

In order to reprint your tickets, we must be able to verify which tickets were sold to you. If you purchased your tickets via mail, online or over the phone, we will be able to locate and reprint your tickets.

Room Reservations

1. Which rooms do I reserve through the UM Box Office?

Please click the Venue Reservations tab on our web page in order to see a brief overview of each facility that we schedule.

2. How does the reservation process work?

The User must select the needed venue and then read and agree to its Terms of Use.  It is also helpful to print the Terms of Use for future reference.  The User may then fill out and submit the form.  The User will receive an email verifying the reservation request has been received.  The UM Box Office receives this email as well.  This does not confirm the reservation for space.  The Box Office will then review the request and make every effort to schedule the needed facility.  If the requested space is not available, the Box Office will make suggestions for alternative locations for your event.  At this point, it is very important to adhere to the payment information section in the Terms of Use.  Student Groups should pay special attention to the Terms of Use regarding social event registration forms, payment and other rules pertaining to UM student organizations.  Once the space is reserved, the UM Box Office will send a confirmation email to the User and other appropriate campus officials.  If, at any time, the Office of the Provost places a class in a room, it supersedes any previous reservations for the space.

3. How far in advance do I need to make my reservation?

This varies from room to room. Most spaces require at least 7 days notice. Please refer to our list of facilities for more information.

4. What is the cost for reserving a room?

The costs associated with room reservations vary from room to room.
