About The Artist: Images by Windland Rice
have appeared in National Geographic's WORLD, Nature's Best, and International
Wildlife magazines. She was a participant in the epic Daybreak 2000 project,
which featured images taken by the top nature photographers in the world
on the first day of the new millennium. She is also the Director of Development
for the Natures Best Foundation (NBF) and is on the Board of Directors
of Nature's Best magazine, the official publication of the NBF, a new
nonprofit affiliation created to inspire a greater appreciation and stewardship
of the natural world through photographic documentation.
