On Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at approximately 3:10
a.m. a female student reported to UPD that she had encountered an unknown
male who had chased her near the Quad [between the Library and the Chapel]
at approximately 2:45 a.m.
The female stated she was near the fountain when the
male came up to her and attempted to strike up a conversation with her.
He also offered to give her a ride. She refused his offer and walked
away from him.
As she walked away, the male followed her. She then
began to run. She stated the male then began to chase her. She ran to
the Phi Kappa Tau/Kappa Alpha Parking Lot. She stated that when she
got to this area, the male turned around and ran back towards Guyton
Hall.
She did not see the male after this. She was not physically
harmed.
She described the unknown male as a black male, approximately
25-30 years old, about 6' tall, wearing below-knee length denim shorts,
