ON-LINE VEHICLE REGISTRATION FOR THE SPECIAL SOUTH SIDE PARKING LOT PERMIT
[reduced decal fee but with parking restrictions] - Oxford Campus Students

UPD's Parking Services Office has activated the on-line vehicle registration for faculty, staff, and students.
Current decals expire August 15, 2007.

A special South Side Parking Lot parking permit is being offered this year for faculty, staff, or students.
This parking lot is on the west side of University Place at Highway 6. The decal fee is only $10 per vehicle
and will be billed to the student's bursar account. However, this special decal will permit the motorist to park
only in the South Side Parking Lot between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays. If a motorist parks
a vehicle with this special South Side Parking Lot decal elsewhere on campus during these hours on these
days, they will be subject to a $45 parking fine for the first and subsequent violations.

to http://www.olemiss.edu/depts/u_police/traffic/parkingON.htm to process the on-line vehicle registration.
When you get to the "Decal & Lot Selection" section, decal type, you should click on "$10 South Side Parking Lot".

After completion of the on-line procedure, your decal will be mailed to you via the U.S. Postal Service. Therefore, it
is critical you enter the correct local mailing address on the registration form.

The same deadline applies as with other decal purchases. New decals must be purchased by September 1, 2007, by
students to avoid a late registration penalty fee. All student decals purchased on-line between July 5 and August 3, 2007, will
be mailed to the address indicated on the on-line registration form.

Students who process their on-line registration form after August 3, 2007, will have to wait 24-hours before they can
come to UPD's Parking Services Office in Kinard Hall between 8am-5pm weekdays to pick up their decal
[you must have your Ole Miss ID with you].
