Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between , Thursday, January 1, and Monday, January 18, 2009:


BURGLARY:

Friday, January 9, 4:25 p.m., an iPod was reported stolen from a locked room in Stockard Hall.
There were no signs of forced entry.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Friday, January 16, 8:00 a.m., the front door and steps of the Sigma Chi Fraternity House was
discovered vandalized (paint splattered).

 

ARRESTS:

Friday, January 16, 9:55 p.m., 2 male students were charged with possession of marijuana inside
Kincannon Hall.

Friday, January 16, 12:13 a.m., a male student was charged with speeding and DUI refusal on
University Place.

Thursday, January 15, 4:15 p.m., a male non-student was arrested on a warrant issued by the
Lafayette County Justice Court.

Sunday, January 11, 3:44 p.m., a male student was charged with speeding and driving while license
suspended on Hill Drive.

Saturday, January 10, 11:52 p.m., a male student was charged with speeding and DUI refusal on
University Place.

Saturday, January 10 9:27 a.m., a female non-student was charged with speeding, no proof of insurance
and driving while license suspended on Hathorn Road.

Friday, January 9, 10:20 p.m., a male student was charged with speeding and driving while license
suspended on University Avenue.

Tuesday, January 6, 3:03 p.m., a female student was charged with disregard to a traffic device and
driving while license suspended on University Circle.
