Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between, Sunday, February 1, and Saturday, February 7, 2009:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Thursday, February 5, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., a laptop computer left unattended
was stolen from a classroom in Bishop Hall.

Tuesday, February 3, 12:34 p.m., a textbook left unattended on a table in the Union Food
Court was stolen.


AUTO BURGLARY:

Friday, February 6, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Library Annex
Parking Lot was burglarized. A compact displayer was stolen from the dash. A window
was broken to gain entry.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Monday, February 2, between 5:30 p.m. and 5:55 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Kappa Delta Sorority
House parking area was vandalized ( side panel dented).

One reported incident of receiving harassing phone calls.

ARRESTS:

Friday, February 6, 9:01 p.m., a female student was charged with speeding and driving while
license suspended on Intramural Road.

Thursday, February 5, 11:53 p.m., a male student was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
inside Stockard Hall.

Tuesday, February 3, 11:28 p.m., a male student was charged with running stop sign, DUI refusal
and possession of drug paraphernalia on Grove Loop.

Tuesday, February 3, 1:49 p.m., a male student was arrested on a warrant issued by the Lafayette
County Justice Court for shoplifting.

Tuesday, February 3, 7:35 a.m., a male student was arrested of a false pretense warrant issued by
the Lee County Sheriff's Department.

Sunday, February 1, 11:54 p.m., a male student was charged with possession of beer under 21 years
of age in the Kappa Alpha Parking Lot.
