Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between, Sunday, March 1, and Saturday, March 7, 2009:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Friday, March 6, 12:13 p.m., a backpack left unattended was reported stolen in the
J. D. Williams Library.

Friday, March 6, between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., a bookbag left unattended on a desk
in the J.D. Williams Library was stolen.

Thursday, March 5, between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., an unattended wallet was stolen
from a table in the Union Food Court.

Thursday, March 5, 9:47 a.m., an unattended textbook and cell phone were stolen from a
desk in the Thad Cochran Building.

Wednesday, March 4, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., an unattended brief case was
stolen from a table in the Union Food Court.

Monday, March 2, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., several wallets were stolen from a locker
room in the baseball office.

Monday, March 2, 1:45 p.m., an unattended laptop computer was reported stolen from a desk
in the J. D. Williams Library.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

Tuesday, March 3, 11:24 a.m., a parking permit was reported missing from a parked vehicle.

Tuesday, March 3, 9:56 a.m., a parking permit was reported missing from a parked vehicle.

Monday, March 2, 9:36 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Old Chemistry Parking Lot was discovered
vandalized.


ARRESTS:

Saturday, March 7, 8:17 p.m., a male non student was charged with running a one way street and
driving while license suspended on Dormitory Row West.
