If you need cash and have information about any crime that has occurred in the University, Oxford, or Lafayette County community, please call CRIMESTOPPERS at 234-TIPS(8477), 24 hours a day.  All information is strictly confidential. We do not need your name.

CRIME PREVENTION TIP:
To reduce your chance of being a victim of a crime, please:

  • Lock your office/room door when you are away.	
  • Participate in  "Operation Identification", engraving all valuables and recording all serial numbers.
  • Do not leave valuables exposed or unattended.
  • Don't leave book bags unattended.  You may now carry your book bag into the Ole Miss Bookstore.
  • Do not walk/jog alone in dark, isolated areas.
  • Use Rebel Patrol to escort you across campus after dark.
  • Report suspicious persons and/or activities to UPD immediately.
