The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety. The University
Police Department states the following incidents have
Monday, January 21, 11;27 a.m., a composite was reported stolen from the lobby area of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity House. The theft occurred between 3:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19. Friday, January 18, 11:18 a.m., several textbooks were stolen from the Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Investigation continues. Friday, January 18, 12:06 p.m., a parking decal was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the Martin Hall Parking Lot. Wednesday, January 16, 7:58 a.m., cash was reported stolen from a cash box in the J. D. Williams Library. Tuesday, January 1, 2:32 p.m., an unlocked bike was reported stolen from Stockard Hall.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Sunday, January 20, 6:40 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Stockard Hall Parking Lot was discovered vandalized (side mirror broken). Sunday, January 20, 1:41 a.m., UPD received a report of a student who had been physically assaulted in an altercation in the Guyton Hall Parking Lot. Thursday, January 3, between 2:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., a vehicle parked in the Paris-Yates Chapel Parking Lot was vandalized (rear window busted out). Two reported incidents of receiving harassing phone calls.
ARRESTS: Wednesday, January 16, 12:38 p.m., a male non-student was charged with running a one way street and driving while license suspended. Saturday, January 12, 5:15 p.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness inside Tad Smith Coliseum.
