Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Tuesday, January 29, and Monday, February 4, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Friday, February 1, 2:15 p.m., a banjo was reported stolen from a resident's
room in Stockard Hall on an earlier date.

Friday, February 1, 11:40 a.m., a wallet was reported stolen from a resident's
room in Deaton Hall. There were no signs of forced entry.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

One reported incident of receiving harassing e-mails.

 

ARRESTS:

Monday, February 4, 8:54 p.m., a female student was charged with speeding,
and driving while license suspended on University Place.

Sunday, February 3, 8:03 a.m., a male student was charged with disorderly conduct and
public drunkenness at Miller Hall.

Sunday, February 3, 1:24 a.m., a male student was charged with disorderly conduct and
public drunkenness and another male student was charged with disorderly conduct
inside Stockard Hall.

Saturday, February 2, 9:01 p.m., a male student was charged with possession of beer
under 21 years of age in Stockard Hall.

Thursday, January 31, 1:13 a.m., a female student was charged with careless driving and
DUI 1st offense on Rebel Drive.
