Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, February 11, and Sunday, February 17, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Wednesday, February 13, 8:33 a.m., a parking permit was reported stolen from a vehicle parked
in the Guess Hall Parking Lot.

 

AUTO THEFT:

Saturday, February 16, 11:29 a.m., two University - owned golf carts were reported
stolen from the University Golf Course.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

Wednesday, February 13, 7:29 a.m., tiles were discovered broken in a men's restroom in the
Union Building.

Tuesday, February 12, 2:56 a.m., graffiti was discovered written on the sidewalk and an exterior
wall at the Turner Center.

Tuesday, February 12, 1:32 a.m., several fence posts were discovered pulled up in the lawn of the
Sigma Nu Fraternity House.

 

Two reported incidents of receiving harassing phone calls.

 

ARRESTS:

Friday, February 15, 1:45 a.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness in the
Coliseum Parking Lot.

Friday, February 15, 1:29 a.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness outside
the Kappa Alpha Fraternity House.

Friday, February 15, 12:15 a.m., a female student was charged with public drunkenness and
possession of a fake ID in the Martin Hall Parking Lot.

Thursday, February 14, 3:39 a.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness on
Fraternity Alley.

Monday, February 11, 12:38 a.m., a male student was charged with speeding and driving while
license suspended on University Place.
