Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, February 18, and Sunday, February 24, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Wednesday, February 20, 12:15 a.m., a bottle of prescription medication was
reported stolen from an unlocked room in Martin Hall.


AUTO BURGLARY:

Friday, February 22, between 8:22 p.m. and 8:28 p.m., two firearms and a radar
detector were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at the Women's Sports
Complex.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Wednesday, February 20, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., a parking permit was
partially removed from a vehicle parked in the Vaught-Hemingway Parking Lot.

Three reported incidents of harassment.


ARRESTS:

Sunday, February 24, 6:52 p.m., a male non-student was charged with public
drunkenness on Fraternity Row.

Sunday, February 24, 5:58 p.m., a male non-student was charged with speeding
and driving while license suspended on Hathorn Road.

Sunday, February 24, 4:09 a.m., a male non-student was charged with careless
driving, driving while license suspended and possession marijuana in a motor
vehicle on Rebel Drive during a traffic stop. Further investigation resulted in t
wo
other male non-students being charged 1-for possession of marijuana more than
an oz and 1-for possession of Marijuana with intent to sell.

Saturday, February 23, 3:17 a.m., a male student was charged with public
drunkenness near East Stadium Drive.

Friday, February 22, 6:02 p.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness
at Swayze Field.

Wednesday, February 20, 12:19 a.m., a male student was charged with public
drunkenness and disorderly conduct inside Crosby Hall.

Monday, February 18, 6:07 p.m., a female student was charged with speeding, no proof
of insurance and driving while license suspended on University Place.
