Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, February 25, and Sunday, March 2, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Friday, February 29, between 9:15 a.m. and 12:20 p.m., a bookbag left unattended in
the Union Food Court was stolen.

FRAUD:

Friday, February 29, 4:00 p.m., UPD received a report someone had fraudently made
unauthorzied purchases on a debit card stolen from a purse left unatteded in Hume
Hall between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Tuesday, February 26, 3:56 a.m., UPD officers responded to a disturbance call in the
Kincannon Parking Lot. Investigation revealed two individuals had a verbal altercation.

One reported incident of harassment.


ARRESTS:

Friday, February 29, 12:30 a.m., a male student was charged with petit larceny, willful
trespassing and possession of beer under 21 years of age in the Natural Products Parking
Lot. The arrest was a result of officers investigating suspicious activity in the construction
site.

Wednesday, February 27, 1:07 a.m., a male student was charged with possession of marijuana
in the Crosby Hall Parking Lot.
