Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, March 17, and Sunday, March 23, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Wednesday, March 19, between 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., an unlocked bicycle was
stolen from a bike rack in front of the Turner Center.

Wednesday, March 19, 7:18 p.m., a gold necklace was reported stolen from a resident's
room inside the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity House.

Wednesday, March 19, 3:16 p.m., a laptop computer was reported stolen from the Depot.

Tuesday, March 19, 3:19 p.m., a privately owned golf cart was reported stolen from the
University Golf Course.

FRAUD:

Wednesday, March 19, 11;41 a.m., a student reported someone had fraudulently made
unauthorized purchases on their Ole Miss Express Card.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Tuesday, March 18, 2:28 p.m., a vehicle parked at the Indoor Practice Facility was
reported vandalized (keyed)

Monday, March 17, 1:46 p.m., a parking decal was reported being removed from the
rear windshield of a vehicle.

Monday, March 17, 1:10 p.m., a parking decal was reported being removed from the
rear windshield of a vehicle.

On reported incident of receiving harassing phone calls.

ARRESTS:

Saturday, March 22, 7:42 p.m., a male non-student was charged with running stop
sign and driving while license suspended on All American Drive.

Tuesday, March 18, 12:56 a.m., a female student was charged with running
stop sign, possession of beer under 21 years of age and DUI 1st offense.
