Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, March 24, and Sunday, March 30, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Thursday, March 27, 3:06 p.m., personal items were reported stolen from
a resident's room in Crosby Hall.

Thursday, March 27, 1:39 p.m., a digital camera was reported stolen from an unlocked
room in Stockard Hall.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Friday, March 28, 9:12 a.m., a student reported their parking permit had been vandalized
(peeled off their vehicle).

Friday, March 28, 10:01 a.m., a male student was referred to Student Judicial for the theft of
an Ole Miss trash container.

Monday, March 24, 3:33 p.m., a student reported their parking permit had been vandalized
(peeled off the vehicle).

 

ARRESTS:

Sunday, March 30, 11:36 p.m., a male student was charged with driving without
headlights and driving while license suspended on Rebel Drive.

Sunday, March 30, 12:59 a.m., a male student was charged with running stop
sign and DUI refusal on Poole Drive.

Saturday, March 29, 11:56 p.m., a female student was charged with public drunkenness
and possession of alcohol under 21 years of age.

Saturday, March 29, 9:01 p.m., a male student was charged with driving without headlights
and driving while license suspended on Poole Drive.

Saturday, March 29, 6:37 p.m., a male non-student was charged with driving with suspended
license on Fraternity Row.

Saturday, March 29, 5:32 p.m., a male student was charged with DUI 1st offense on Fraternity Row.

Friday, March 28, 11:52 p.m., a male student was charged with disorderly conduct on Poole Drive.

Friday, March 28, 11:42 p.m.,a male student was charged with public drunkenness on Poole Drive.

Friday, March 28, 9:33 p.m., a male student was charged with running stop sign, careless driving
and DUI refusal on University Avenue.

Friday, March 28, 1:17 a.m., a male student was charged with running stop sign and DUI refusal
on Confederate Drive.

Tuesday, March 25, 10:37 p.m., a female student was charged with no signal for lane change and
driving while license suspended on Grove Loop.

Tuesday, March 25, 9:43 p.m., a male student was charged with improper equipment and driving
while license suspended on Rebel Drive.

Tuesday, March 25, 1:16 a.m., a female student was charged with DUI 1st offense on Rebel Drive.
