Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, April 21, and Sunday, April 27, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Thursday, April 24, between 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., a leaf blower left unattended
on All American Drive was stolen.

BURGLARY:

Friday, April 25, between 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., a laptop computer was stolen from
an unlocked room in Kincannon Hall.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Sunday, April 27, 2:49 a.m., a section of fence was discovered torn down at the Delta
Kappa Epsilon Fraternity House.

Sunday, April 27, 12:21 a.m., a vehicle parked in the Stockard Hall Parking Lot was
reported vandalized(tires slashed). The responsible party has been identified and
agreed to pay for the damage.

Friday, April 25, 4:25 p.m., UPD officers responded to the Bookstore in the Union in
reference to an unidentified individual trying to sell stolen textbooks. The individual
left the area before officers arrived.

Thursday, April 24, 11:28 p.m., a window was broken at Falkner Hall. The responsible
party has been identified and agreed to pay for the damage.

Tuesday, April 22, between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., a vehicle parked in the Coulter
Hall Parking Lot was vandalized (keyed).

Two reported incidents of receiving harassing emails.

One reported incident of receiving harassing phone calls.

ARRESTS:

Thursday, April 24, 9:34 p.m., a male non-student was charged with running stop sign,
driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance.

Thursday, April 24, 7:51 p.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness on
Confederate Drive.

Wednesday, April 23, 1:21 a.m., three male students were arrested inside Brown Hall.
One student was charged with disorderly conduct; one student was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly
conduct; and one student was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Tuesday, April 22, 11:16 p.m., a male student was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia in the Kincannon Hall Parking Lot.

Tuesday, April 22, 9:45 p.m., a male student was charged with improper equipment
and driving while license suspended on Hathorn Road.

Tuesday, April 22, 1:39 a.m., a male student was charged with speeding, careless
driving and DUI 1st offense on Rebel Drive.
