Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, May 5, and Sunday, May 11, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Tuesday, May 6, 3:55 p.m., a locked bicycle was reported stolen from Stockard Hall.

Wednesday, May 7, 3:03 p.m., UPD received a report that someone had fraudulently
made unauthorized purchases on a stolen debit card.

AUTO BURGLARY:

Wednesday, May 7, 4:00 p.m., an iPod and FM transmitter were reported stolen from
an unlocked vehicle parked in the Stockard Hall Parking Lot.

BURGLARY:

Saturday, May 10, 3:28 p.m., a TV and DVD player were reported stolen from a locked
room in Crosby Hall.

Saturday, May 10, between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., lap top computer, digital camera
and a flat screen TV were stolen from an unlocked room in
Stockard Hall.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Saturday, May 10, 11:21 a.m., a vehicle parked in the Miller Hall Parking Lot was discovered
vandalized (keyed).

Thursday, May 8, 10:35 a.m., a vehicle parked in the Crosby Hall Parking Lot was reported
vandalized (keyed).

Monday, May 5, 10:15 a.m., a vehicle parked on Women's Terrace was discovered vandalized
(fire extinguisher discharged inside vehicle).

 

ARRESTS:

Friday, May 9, 2:07 a.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness inside
Kincannon Hall.

Thursday, May 8, 11:59 p.m., a male student was charged with careless driving, failure
to yield right of way, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, running stop sign, and DUI 1st offense.

Tuesday, May 6, 12:55 a.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness and
disorderly conduct inside Kincannon Hall.
