Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, May 12, and Sunday, May 18, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Tuesday, May 13, 12:13 p.m., a locked bicycle was reported stolen from a bike rack
at Stockard Hall.

Monday, May 12, 4:22 p.m., two unlocked bicycles were reported stolen from the
Village area. The bicycles were recovered in the City of Oxford on May 13.
No charges filed.

ARRESTS:

Friday, May 16, 8:57 p.m., a male non student was charged with speeding , no proof
of insurance, driving with a suspended license and providing false information to
an officer on University Place.

Wednesday, May 14, 12:18 a.m., a male student was charged with speeding and
driving while license suspended on Hathorn Road.

Monday, May 12, 10:39 p.m., a male student was charged with careless driving,
seatbelt violation and DUI 1st offense on University Place.
