Campus Crime Report

The Campus Crime Report is released weekly to inform the University
community of incidents that may be a threat to public safety.

The University Police Department states the following incidents have
been reported between Monday, June 2, and Sunday, June 15, 2008:


LARCENY/THEFTS:

Wednesday, June 11, 3:45 p.m., a locked biccycle was reported stolen from a
bike rack in the Village.

Wednesday, June 4, 4:50 p.m., a recliner was reported stolen from outside an
apartment in the Village.

AUTO BURGLARY:

Tuesday, June 3, between 4:30 p.m. and 7:58 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Union
Parking Lot was burglarized. Textbooks were stolen. The vehicle was locked but
a window was left partically rolled down.

BURGLARY:

Tuesday, June 10, 6:12 a.m., two lap-top computers were discovered stolen from a
office at the residential college construction site.

MISCELLANEOUS:


Monday, June 9, 4:01 p.m., UPD officers responded to Meek Hall in reference to a
disturbance. Investigation revealed two individuals had a verbal altercation.

One reported incident of receiving harassing text messages.

ARRESTS:

Friday, June 13, 11:16 p.m., a male non-student was charged with improper
equipment and driving while license suspended on Womens Terrace.

Sunday, June 8, 8:59 p.m., a male non-student was charged with running stop
sign and driving while license suspended on University Avenue.

Sunday, June 8, 12:08 a.m., a female student was charged with running stop
sign and driving while license suspended on University Avenue.

Saturday, June 7, 2:39 a.m., a male student was charged with public drunkenness
on Fraternity Alley.

Saturday, June 7, 1:34 a.m., a male student was charged with running stop sign,
running a one way street and failure to stop vehicle on Dormitory Row West.
