ABSENT: Dean Payne, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. Kostopulos, Dr. Staton
1. Approval of Minutes. It was announced that Chancellor Khayat has approved the minutes of the October 30 meeting without exception.
2. Reaction to Minutes of the Graduate Council Meetings of November 10 and November 17, 1995. Dean Dingerson, seconded by Dean Abadie, moved acceptance of the minutes of the November 10, 1995, meeting of the Graduate Council. The motion was carried unanimously. Dean Dingerson, seconded by Dean Roberts, moved acceptance of the minutes of the November 17, 1995, meeting of the Graduate Council. The motion was carried unanimously.
3. Reaction of Theses and Dissertations as Part of Faculty Loads.
Dr. T. J. Ray, Chair of the Senate of the Faculty, raised some questions about whether the direction of theses and dissertations is, or might be, included in work loads for faculty members. This matter had been discussed at a recent meeting with Commissioner Layzell.
4. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m.
