Graduate Writing Consultations Free writing consultations for University of Mississippi graduate students in all disciplines.

Writing consultants read line-by-line in advance of meeting with you to discuss language, style, organization, documentation, and format. We read documents at any stage of development. We are available to work with students for whom English is a second language or a first language. Please allow us a reasonable amount of time to read your manuscript in advance of the consultation. Also, keep in mind that, like your faculty committee members, our busiest times are at semester end. Dissertation Submission Process The Writing Center is the site for electronic submission of dissertations. Doctoral candidates submit two paper copies of the dissertation and one copy on CD to the Graduate School . Dissertation CD’s must be burned on a computer dedicated to this purpose in the Writing Center and authors receive two free copies of the dissertation CD.
