English as a Second Language Graduate Students
Writing Consultations are available for second language graduate students seeking language assistance with a thesis, dissertation or seminar paper during Fall and Spring semesters. The goal of this service is to help the graduate student improve language skills and therefore requires a face-to-face meeting with a writing coach.
How to schedule an appointment:
- Keep in mind that this service is unavailable on weekends and University holidays. Our language coaches are graduate students who receive part-time assistantships and are available for a limited number of hours.
- Attach your document to your request for a consultation. Please allow ample time for a coach to read your paper. For example, we cannot meet your deadline if you send your request to read a 30 page document on Friday afternoon at 3:00 and request a meeting on Monday
- All pages should be numbered, double-spaced, and spellchecked.
