Presidential Debate The first of three presidential debates in 2008 is to be broadcast live from the Ole Miss campus. More than 3,000 journalists from throughout the world are expected to cover the event. For more information go to www.olemiss.edu/debate
Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery constructed a Mandala Sand Painting from April 28th to May 2nd in the Student Union. Millions of grains of sand were painstakingly laid into place in this ancient spiritual art form in order to purify and heal the environment and its inhabitants.
