Kamesha Bailey
Kamesha Bailey, 18, of Coffeeville
saw the Women’s Council scholarship not only something she hoped to achieve but
also something to look forward to becoming a part of.
“I have never been a part of such a dynamic group before,”
said Bailey who plans on earning a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. “I am
really looking forward to becoming a mentor for the first time.”
Bailey was introduced to the Women’s Council through her
mother who works at Ole Miss as well as her high school guidance counselor who
put the application in process.
Earning scholarships was important to Bailey who said,
“College is expensive, and I knew scholarships were going to affect my decision
on what university to attend.”
“I am so grateful for such the support that I have gotten
and will get from the Women’s Council,” said Bailey. “They have made such an opportune time for me
to be at Ole Miss.”
