Elizabeth Harrington
Being connected to Ole
Miss is something that goes “hand in hand”
to Elizabeth Harrington, 18, of Oxford. She
said that growing up in Oxford and around
Ole Miss made her college decision very
easy.
“Early on I knew how
impressive the university atmosphere was,”
said Harrington whose parents both work at
the university. “I knew I wanted to stay in
Oxford for my undergraduate.”
Harrington was also
very impressed with the members of the
Women’s Council and hopes to continue their
merits.
“It’s very important
for me that women continue to distinguish
themselves,” said Harrington. “I hope to
leave my mark on the world and affect
positive change on campus.”
She hopes to implement
many new avenues to the Women’s Council like
a recycling center and help expand upon the
tutoring programs available at the
university.
“The Women’s Council
members are exact people I would like to
familiarize myself with,” she says. “I want
to continue the excellence of the council
personally and for the university like these
wonderful women have already begun.” |
