Edith Kelly-Green, chair

Edith Kelly-Green is vice president of strategic sourcing and supply for Federal Express Corp., where she is responsible for the global supply chain management function. She joined FedEx in 1977 as a senior accountant and progressed from manager in corporate accounting, senior manager in finance, managing director of finance, managing director of publishing services, vice president-internal audit and quality to her current position in 1993. Kelly-Green spent four years in public accounting with Touche Ross (now Deloitte & Touche) in Memphis as a senior auditor. She earned a bachelor's degree from The University of Mississippi and a master's degree from Vanderbilt University. She is a certified public accountant, a 1987 graduate of Leadership Memphis, and a 1990 graduate of Leadership America.

Through the years, Kelly-Green has presented programs to numerous groups on topics of quality and supply chain management. She serves on the board of trustees for the Center of Advanced Purchasing Studies and is a member of several roundtables focusing on supply chain management. Kelly-Green has been active in many non-profit organizations, such as Memphis Zoo, Memphis in May, Senior Citizens Services and The Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis. A breast cancer survivor, she is committed to the Race for the Cure and the Tour for the Cure, as well as other opportunities to communicate and reduce the risk of cancer. She is past member of The University of Mississippi Alumni Association's Board of Directors and a current member of the National Steering Committee of the University's Commitment to Excellence Campaign. In 1999, she was inducted into the Ole Miss Alumni Hall of Fame. Also in 1999, she established and funded the Christine Hickonbottom Scholarship at Ole Miss to provide financial support to African-American women entering the School of Accountancy. Additionally, Kelly-Green as a board member of the Christian Disciples of Christ Foundation. She has received numerous awards for community work.
