Becky Jones West
In 1978, Becky Jones West was named to the Ole Miss
Student Hall of Fame and received a bachelor's degree, majoring
in radio/tv and minoring in journalism. For the next eight years,
she held various marketing/public relations positions with Methodist
Healthcare and First Tennessee Bank in Memphis. In 1986, she founded
WestRogers, an advertising, public relations and sports promotion
firm headquartered in Memphis. Serving as president, her firm is
sought by politicians, athletes and corporations.
West has published articles on political campaigns,
debated political-identity development with the nation's best and
taught continuing education courses at the University of Memphis.
In 1995, she was named "One of the 50 Women You Need to Know"
by Memphis Magazine. She is a founding board member and serves on
the executive committee of the Women's Foundation for a Greater
Memphis.
