November 6, 2008 --Meet and Greet Prospects at Southside Gallery on the Historic Oxford Square from 6:00- 8:00pm.
November 7, 2008--Information Sessions will be held at the Yerby Conference Center on the University of Mississippi campus beginning at 9am. Southern lunch will follow in the Grove.
Information Sessions will cover the following topics:
- Why should I attend graduate school?
- How do I fund my graduate education?
- What is the application process?
- Which extrance exam must I take?
- What documents must be included with application?
- What should I say in my personal statement?
- How should I ask professors to write an excellent letter of recommendation?
- What is graduate school like at UM?

The mission of the Graduate School is to provide leadership, coordination, and administrative structure to support all graduate programs at the University. This office functions as the central University entity for students, faculty, and staff involved in graduate education. It also is responsible for implementation of Graduate School policy to assure compliance with standards, quality, and integrity among all of the graduate programs.
