Free Bike Light Give-Away!

Oxford cyclists, it is time to gear up for the time change and early sunsets. Next week, after the time change, the sun will set shortly after 5pm. Statistics show that over half of all cyclists killed are hit while riding after dark without lights even though only 3 percent of bike riding is done at night.
This Sunday, November 1, 4:30 p.m., local organizations are hosting a free bike light give-away Join us at the Depot for your free LED light ($15 retail value), safety tips, and a quick maintenance check-up. All Oxford cyclists are invited to bring their bikes. Rear lights will be available for $10 includes a year membership in the Oxford Cycling Club.
