Tobacco Resistance and Awareness Campaign (TRAC)
In January 2015, The Department of Finance and Administration - Office of Insurance announced TRAC. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness about the benefits of tobacco cessation, reduce tobacco-related illnesses, and to promote a healthier lifestyle. All employees enrolled in the State and School Employees' Health Plan, whether a non-tobacco user or a tobacco user, are required to complete the Tobacco Use Attestation Form. Effective July 1, 2015, the Plan will begin charging tobacco users a $50.00 monthly surcharge. To avoid the surcharge, tobacco users must participate in the TRAC Program or be tobacco free for three (3) months if using another method of tobacco cessation. This FAQ flyer defines forms of tobacco and what is considered regular tobacco use, and outlines the tobacco cessation services available with the TRAC Program. Detailed information about TRAC is available on this flyer, on the Plan's website, or by contacting ActiveHealth at (866) 939-4721.

The new policy is located in the University's Policy Index. Designated Locations of the Lactation Rooms can be found on the University's "Maps" page, under Services and then Health and Safety.
Mandatory Background Checks Required for Staff and Faculty Positions
